About Bruce

I design and build systems that connect technology to real-world outcomes. My work sits at the intersection of software, data, and operational execution, with a focus on making complex systems reliable and scalable.

I have led projects from concept to production across healthcare, biotech, and data platforms, combining software-first thinking with experience in imaging, signal processing, and clinical systems. When projects align with my vision, I often participate in the very-early stage investment and business development.

My background spans full-stack systems, data pipelines, and decision models, as well as hardware–software integration in measurement and imaging environments. I work across the full lifecycle, from early architecture and prototyping through deployment, operational refinement and business development. I believe understanding the customer comes before defining the product.

Based in Vancouver, BC and London, UK, I work with founders and teams to structure systems, reduce complexity, and deliver outcomes that hold under real use.

I am an avid photographer, skier, sailor, scuba diver and proud dad!
